Music Productions Team

The people that have come together to conceptualize the project are dedicated to the
fulfilment of the goal. They are highly motivated as they consider social
change and development as a function of inspirational, Afrocentric and morally based
undertakings. This we believe is what is required to propel Khalipha Productions to higher
heights.

in the context of a globalized world.

Things African must not only be utilized to nuance and/or “exotify” things in other parts of the
world, but should be able to stand alone and be appreciated independently in order to achieve
their deserved high status in the global world – Lebohang Mohapi

He has managed to put together a team of experts in different aspects relating to the enterprise. The team therefore has depth and experience in entertainment and business. He himself

PRODUCTIONS
UNITED ARTISTS PROJECT

The adverse effects of Covid – 19 on artists meant a need for a project whose scope and quality would provide extensive marketability to assist participants collectively, assist them economically, promote artistic development, and that was sustainable. The result was the UNITED ARTISTS PROJECT.
Over 100 Artists from diverse backgrounds, genders and artistic fields were identified. 120 Artists/Practitioners: 47% Males, 53% Females, 75% Youth, 90% Black, 10% Disabled or differently abled
• We have artists from visual arts, performance arts, and practical arts: studio and sound engineers, all coming together to take part in the project. Many of the musicians taking part come from poor backgrounds, lack opportunity, seek exposure, are women and are young people.
The UNITED ARTISTS PROJECT musical recording will be professionally
produced in South Africa, mixed and mastered in New York, registered with all CMO’S, marketed and exhibited throughout the country and beyond through a strong and proven PR plan (PR plan available). (Sample of work already done - https://youtu.be/GHZ5LNfObfo). This will give the participants the much-needed first-hand experience and opportunity for sustained work opportunities as artists.
The project hopes to partner with government, private companies and relevant NGOs such as the South African Federation for Mental Health SAFMH to promote worthy courses like raising awareness for mental health issues, and to produce ancillary revenue streams for the project and participants.

KHAMBA MUZIK

Khamba Muzik is the latest stir in the South African music space. A vocally dynamic male newcomer with a fresh sound. We are not squeamish about genres, as they have a propensity to inaccurately define an artist’s music, after all art is something of an abstract and subjective nature. Khamba Muzik’s music can be associated with an Afro-Soul sound. The album delivers waves of eclectic sounds, with themes (lyrically) of love, brotherhood, heartbreak, and sometimes collective conscience awakening.

As the name suggests; Khamba Muzik, Khamba, a derivative of a Zulu word for a bottle gourd or calabash used as a container for varied cultural materials, his music will soon become a demand by audiences everywhere. There’s certainly a timelessness about the music. A leading South African radio station dubbed the project “simply the next big thing.” The album continues to climb charts in leading local and national radio stations. The social impact and impression that the project has have led many to say that the music should stand alone as a genre called Khamba Muzik.

He has returned to South Africa with a lot of excitement and experience. He has a lot of fans waiting in burning anticipation for his music. Sondiyazi’s demand is such that although his ‘single’ has not been released yet, he continues to get invited to perform for audiences who can’t get enough of him and his voice. We are confident that we have a South African star who will in the short future represent us internationally.
